INFORMATION ON FESTIVAL JUNE 24/25

Hi Coaches and Managers and Parents

You committed to playing in the mid-season festival on June 24 (U10) and June 25 (U12) in Milton.

We are looking forward to some extra soccer during the season. We have three teams in each age gender group so it should be a nice and reasonably short day. Please note the "3 up 1 off" rule as we may have some large differences in play (we don't know yet how some of the teams play). If your team is up by 3 goals, you need to take 1 player off. If the goal differential is down to 2, a player can be added again. If your team is up by 6 goals, then you need to take off 2 players. If the goal differential is less than 6 but higher than 3, then you play one less than the opponent. Hope that makes sense.

Also, NO DOGS in the park - please make sure your parents know. parents to sit beyond the WHITE touchlines (not inside the 11 v 11 field).

You may bring team shelters and benches - team shelters must not interfere with playing area (there is lots of room in the park for set up. There is also a splash pad for younger siblings or for the team to cool down after games.

Teams:
Boys U10 - MSA, RFC, Puslinch
Girls U10 - MSA, RFC, HEADS

Start times: 10AM for U10 on June 249:00AM for U12 on June 25 - we will try to schedule out of town teams back to back, and Milton teams first and last, so that total duration for guest teams doesn't exceed 2.5 hrs for U10 and 3 hours for U12.

Game format:
U10:
- 7v7
- 2 * 25 mins halves
- two games
- 30 mins break between games
- retreat line as per referee
- "3 up 1 off" (for every 3 goals up, a team needs to take one player off; e.g. 3-0 one player off; 6-0 two players off)
