New Recreation Coaching Requirements 2023 from SWRSA/Ontario and Canada Soccer.
All the grassroots education courses have 2 modules:
-Module 1 is the Coaching Soccer in Canada – REQUIRED
-Module 2 is the RECOMMENDED age appropriate theory course (Active Start, Fundamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life).
When the coach pays the $15.00, he/she will have access to both modules.
They can choose to complete only Module 1 OR both.
If they choose to complete both Modules, they can take the on-field portion later on to complete the grassroots certification.
Reminder - In addition to the Coaching in Canada course, the rec coaches will need the Respect in Sports and have the police check done.
SWRSA District in which ESL is grounded are giving until Jul 1st to have this completed.
You will have to provide proof of the certificates when requested.
